On My Way...

After a long, hard day yesterday, I am so happy to say that I am safely on my way home! I am at the Phoenix Airport right now, getting ready to board my flight to Salt Lake! I am so excited to be coming home, and look forward to spending time with my family! I cannot even begin to express my feelings of gratitude for the church and all of it's members right now. It is a pretty long story, but I ended up staying at one of the families in the ward in Connecticut's house last night, and they willingly took me to my shuttle for the aiport at 2:30 in the morning!! Thank you for all of the calls and concern while I had such a hard day yesterday... It was all VERY MUCH appreciated! I can't wait to see you all! Thanks again!!!

What Do I Like?

So I have been tagged by Deverie... Here is a little list of some of the things that I like.

I like running.. i would like to run a marathon within the next year or two!

I like brownies, my favorite are the betty crocker chocolate chunk package...
I like all of my television series... there are just too many to name. current favorite is Desperate Housewives and So You Think You Can Dance, though...
I like taking pictures, whether I am in them or not. Preferrably in, though :)

I like tanning... my latest favorite is to lay out in the sun... at a beach if possible!
I like all different kinds of hair products. A girl can never have too many of those!
I like having a purpose... a goal I can work towards and potentially succeed!
I like going to lunch with friends... no better time to catch up than at lunch at Juniper or Chili's!

I like Taco Bell! Weird, I know!
I like trying new things... I have never been this type of person until about a year ago. I used to refuse to try and new foods, but I have found that I like a lot more than I did as a child, and only because I tried them again! :)
I like going to the park... another result of trying new things. I haven't been to the park in AGES, but it is so nice and relaxing to take a walk in the park on a nice summer day...
I like reading, currently The Host by Stephenie Meyer
I love... not like... my family. nuff said.

I like helping people. I love the feeling of satisfaction when someone is appreciative of something I have done to help them. :)
I like sushi! MMMMMMM!

Just a few... haha, or a couple more than a few... of the things that I like.

A little laugh for your day...

My aunt sent this joke to me in an email and I thought it was hilarious! Hope you enjoy....

An 18 year old Italian girl tells her Mom that she thinks she is pregnant. Very worried, the mother goes to the drugstore and buys a pregnancy kit. The test result shows that the girl is pregnant.
The mother says, 'Who was the pig that did this to you? I want to know!'

The girl picks up the phone and makes a call.. Half an hour later, a Ferrari stops in front of their house.. A mature and distinguished man with grey hair and impeccably dressed in an Armani suit steps out of a Ferrari and enters the house.

He sits in the living room with the father, mother, and the girl and says: 'Good morning, your daughter has informed me of the problem.'

'I can't marry her because of my personal family situation but I'll take charge. I will pay all costs and provide for your daughter for the rest of her life.'

'Additionally, if a girl is born, I will bequeath a Ferrari, 2 retail stores, a townhouse, a beach-front villa, and a $2,000,000 bank account.'

'If a boy is born, my legacy will be a couple of factories and a $4,000,000 bank account.

If twins, they will receive a factory and $2,000,000 each .'

'However, if there is a miscarriage, what do you suggest I do?'

At this point, the father, who had remained silent holding a shot gun, places a hand firmly on the man's shoulder and says.

'You gonna try again.'

Flaming Gorge, UT

I think that everyone I know has posted something about the 4th of July, but I guess I am going to have to jump on the bandwagon. I went to Utah for the 4th, and went camping/boating at Flaming Gorge. It was so much fun! I went for a week, and I am back in CT now. We are headed to Pennsylvania for the weekend, and I am looking forward to another weekend on the beach! (Which is great, because my tan is fading... FAST!) Didn't take a lot of pictures, but here is one that shows exactly how much sun I got over the week!
